Tks for posting this Hans.
I came to this idea a while ago and created a PhpBB for myself and some friends. It is incredibly versatile, i can have all my relevant information organized by theme topics, the BB content is visible only to members, who can join only with my approval.

Within the BB i have my own personal data topics, invisible even for the members. But this is a prerogative of the administrator and the other members are aware of it.

PhbBB is indeed a great free resource to store structured data.
The restriction in my PhpBB application is the risk of deletion by the host company IF nothing is posted for 30 days. I am looking for another BB which does not include that restriction.
Any suggestion?

I have been using Joomla! for about 9 months now and have done fairly well in creating a couple of websites. But it was always a bit of a struggle to get a good overview as I would just click on this or that and see where it took me.

Dr. Griffin clearly and logically walks through the total process: from downloading the Joomla! software to installation, then through each step in creating your own website. I found myself having mini-epiphanies as I followed her directions. What I had struggle through previously, now was made clear.

I recommend this book to anyone wishing to enter the realm of web creation as it will take the mystery out of the process and get you up and running your own website in no time at all!

Personally I'm staying out of this, but a lot of people seem to have a lot of time on their hands to flag people because they don't like the video and make threats over the Internet. We have a freedom to post anything we want on here.

Well anything except Hogan ranting about Apple Pie Strap Matches. That's like a permaban for some reason. The point of this vid is simple, this happy horseshit going on between two tribes of trollers is pointless and silly.

But hey at least this drama makes for bloody good entertainment. :)
